Vivi trains start running like Liepāja trams - they no longer understand time either

The railway company announces that trains between Liepāja and Rīga will start running earlier but arrive later. Logic like in Karosta - peculiar, but we like it.

Great news for everyone who thought only the Liepāja tram could create space-time continuum violations! Now Vivi trains have also decided to introduce their own physics - leave earlier but arrive later. As my neighbor Maija from Grobiņas street says: 'Well, finally someone understood that time isn't just numbers on a clock!'

Actually, this is a perfect strategy. While Rīga residents are still trying to figure out how you can leave earlier but arrive later, we Liepāja folks are already used to such paradoxical situations. Our tram has been doing this for years - sometimes it's ahead of schedule, sometimes behind, but always exactly when you don't expect it.

Analyzing the situation in detail, the train from Rīga will now leave at 13:50 but arrive five minutes later than usual. This means passengers can enjoy more of Latvia's countryside and less of Rīga's dust. It's like a free tour of our beautiful country! Plus, when you finally arrive in Liepāja, you'll be so happy about our sea and fresh air that those five minutes will seem like a gift.

Most interesting is the early departure from Liepāja at 4:57. Now you can both fall into the beauty of dawn and make it to Rīga before traffic jams. But knowing Rīga people, they'll be late anyway and won't notice the train is three minutes early. That only works in our favor - fewer gloomy faces in the wagon.
