Company on Zemnieku Street illuminates dark Liepāja business with chandelier army

Līvas gaisma has relocated to Zemnieku Street, where it promises to end Kurzeme's darkness problems with a chandelier arsenal that attracts even Ventspils residents.
While people in Riga are still looking for their place under the sun, the family business Līvas gaisma in Liepāja has been illuminating the path to a better life for eleven years. And now this light bearer has moved to Zemnieku Street, because, as it turns out, that's where the real shopping center is. Who would have thought - Liepāja can also have something like Riga's center, only better.
Jānis Tinte, a board member of the company, says that customers drive to their store even from Ventspils and Kuldīga. "That means we have something that Riga doesn't," laughs local electrician Ernests. "There they only have those same Ikea lamp things. Here you can get a real chandelier that doesn't look like a spaceship."
Tinte proudly announces that they are one of the largest lighting retailers in Kurzeme. Of course they are - the competition here isn't as fierce as in Riga, where every other person sells Chinese light bulbs for double the price. In Liepāja everything is honest - straight from the manufacturer, without Riga middlemen.
Notably, the company has specialized in lighting since 1996. "Nobody is interested in lamps from that time anymore," admits Tinte. Probably because in the nineties all lamps were brown or orange - just like everything else. Now that colors and style have appeared in Liepāja, the lamp world has also changed. And it's good that we have someone who doesn't get lost in this new colorful world.
